Our Silver Exterior Package is a quick detail that works best for well-kept cars, trucks, or SUVs. There is no polishing or paint enhancement included with this package. This will only clean and protect your existing paint. It is not designed to make old paint glossy and shiny again

Myth 1: You can wash your car with dish soap

We highly recommend that you DO NOT wash your car with dish soap or any other type of cleaner that is bought from a local store. Yes, dish soap is good at removing grime and may be convenient, but it can also be too harsh for vehicle paint. It also strips away protective paint sealants, leaving your finish more susceptible to irreversible damage and etching, as well as leaving residue streaks on the paint. All of this creates a poor aesthetic appearance in addition to degrading its quality. Myth 2: Exterior detailing can fix damaged and faded paint

Exterior automotive detailing is a decontamination process that removes both visible and invisible contaminants and is a key component of good exterior car care, but it CANNOT fix damage or large imperfections in the paint. If your ride has damaged or faded paint, you may need paint correction, depending on the severity of the defects. We have two paint correction packages here at ShineCo that can easily eliminate light swirl marks, scrapes, etching, or even stains that have now become more apparent after a full surface decontamination.

Myth 3: Public car washes are safe for vehicle paint

Contrary to popular belief, public car washes are not safe for vehicle paint, nor do they get your ride completely free of harmful contaminants. Both soft touch and touchless car washes can inflict swirl marks, light scratching, and stains as a result of harsh detergents and abrasive brushes used during the different phases those car washes go through. To adequately wash your ride, our team ONLY uses a rinseless wash method with microfiber towels, allowing us to reach all the otherwise hidden areas and make sure the paint is cleaned without leaving swirl marks or other defects behind.
